Renewed 2011 Women's Conference Pre-registration

Time for this Renewed 2011 Women's Conference is drawing near. We urge you to pre-register at your earliest convenience. Having an approximate number of attendees will help us in ordering food and in other preparations. 

It's easy to pre-register:

Call the church office at (205) 935-3549, please leave a message if you get the machine and someone will return your call to obtain your information.

You will be able to pay your registration fee at the beginning of the conference.

Hackleburg COGOP's First School of Ministry

16 students gathered this weekend for the first class, 9 clock hours and tons of incredible Biblical knowledge on "The Heart God Desires". Among the students are 13 who have begun their training in Crisis Counseling, the beginning foundation of The Hackleburg Church of God of Prophecy's emerging Addiction Recovery Rehab Program, 'Freedom Step'. More information will be available soon for the Summer/Fall program for interested Theology students. - Pastor Liz Knowles

Praise Report - Tina Stults

My surgery on Friday went very well, PRAISE GOD! They took me back to the operating room at 6:01 am and I was home by 10:30 am. They removed my right ovary and cleaned out some scar tissue from previous surgeries. I am finally completely awake today. I'm a little sore but I'm doing great, again PRAISE GOD! Thank you all for your prayers. A special thanks to Nancy McCarley and Jean Stults for feeding us this weekend.

I am so sorry that I have fallen behind on getting the daily devotions posted. I have had some health problems and other things going on. Thank you all for your understanding.

Update on Briana Dean & baby

At 26 weeks, on Tuesday, May 18, at 7:00 pm, Briana gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Henley Reed Dean. He weighed 2lb 2 oz and is 13" long. Briana is doing well though she's very weak from being bedfast for so long. Baby Henley is also doing well. He is breathing 70% on his own; he has a very good color; he's moving his arms and legs well; and the doctors believe he is going to be fine. It's just going to take a while. He will probably be in the hospital for another 2 months. Please keep both mother and baby in your prayers during this time. Thank you again.

Update on Alex Hallmark

Miss Alex is much better this morning. Her CT Scan was normal, so the doctors believes she had a virus. She is still running a temperature, but she was able to eat a small breakfast. As soon as her temp is gone and she continues to eat, she will be released. Thanks for all your prayers!
