CHRISTMAS CHOIR 2010

Women's Ministries Community Service Projects

Christmas Gifts for Community Children - We are partnering with the Civitans to be sure that all of the children in our community have Christmas gifts by using our traditional Angel Tree Project. Next week you will be able to pick an Angel from the Christmas tree. Please take the Angel you pick to the Welcome Center to let Lisa Stults know which one you got. Then purchase the item specified on the Angel and bring it to our Welcome Center no later than December 15.

Christmas Cubs for Healing - You can sponsor a white stuffed Christmas Tiger Cub for $12.00 at the Welcome Center. The Women's Ministries will be distributing these to an area hospital and to hospice patients.

Angel Tree by Ladies Ministries

We will be providing community children with Christmas gifts purchased from our Angel Tree. If you know of a child or children in need, please contact a member of the Civitans as soon as possible. If you would like to purchase a gift for a child, pick an angel from the tree, register it at the Wecome Center, then buy the item specified, wrap it, and return it by December 15, 2010.

Christmas Cubs

Christmas Cubs can now be purchased at the Welcome Center for $12. Each cub will be annointed, prayed over, and distributed to local hospital and hospice patients who need healing.

Women's Stradegy Meeting

Thanks to all our ladies who met last week to plan for our upcoming Angel-Tree and Christmas Cubs Projects.

We also made plans for our December Christmas party. The party will be December 16th at 6:00 p.m. Make plans now to attend. We will each bring finger foods and a $5 ladies gift.

Spread The Word

November is Adoption Awareness Month. It's a great opportunity to raise awareness about the miracle of adoption and the hundreds of thousands of children all over the world in foster care and/or orphanages waiting for forever homes. It is also a great opportunity to rais awareness that women have a better option than abortion. If you or someone you love has been blessed by adoption, praise the Lord. If you or someone you know is contemplating abortion, please consider adoption.
